How to Apply

To begin your application, you must first create an account. Log into your account and create a new student application for your child. 
Once you have submitted your application, you will be able to track your admissions status by logging into your account. Should you desire more information than what is available on our website, please Request More Information and you will be contacted.

Application Requirements

The first entry point for students seeking admission to Trinity Christian School is at Pre-Kindergarten, with additional positions in Junior Kindergarten. All preschoolers are accepted on a provisional basis. Admission to Kindergarten–12th Grade is on a space available basis. Enrollment is offered first to students currently enrolled in Trinity Christian School. Admission priority is extended to qualified children of Trinity Presbyterian Church members. When enrollment is full, a wait-pool may be established.

Students entering:

  • Pre-Kindergarten must be three years old by June 30th prior to the start of school
  • Junior Kindergarten must be four years old by June 30th prior to the start of school
  • Kindergarten must be five years old by June 30th prior to the start of school

Applications are accepted beginning in September for the following school year. An admissions appointment will be scheduled with the Principal of the appropriate campus (Mauka Campus/Preschool–3rd Grade and Makai Campus/4th–12th Grade) upon receipt of the online application, a non-refundable and non-transferable application fee and the required documents listed below and on the reverse side of this page. Informational tours are arranged by calling our admissions office.

Applicants 2nd–8th Grade are required to take the following classes offered in our Summer Advantage program. Parents will need to make other arrangements if their child is unable to attend:

  • 2nd-6th Grade Applicants:  Spalding
  • 7th-8th Grade Applicants:  Introduction to Latin

Trinity Christian School seeks families who desire a Christian education and admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the school. Trinity Christian School operates within our Federal and State laws to follow ADA laws and accepts students with disabilities within reasonable boundaries. Applicants with a disability may be admitted provisionally after thorough screening with the student, parents, and health care consultants. The Campus Principal and Academic Dean must concur that the applicant’s overall needs can be met at our school without undue hardship to the student, staff or total environment.

For a student to be considered for admission, the following checklists must be followed for the grade of the applicant:

Checklist for PRE-KINDERGARTEN & JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN Applicants:  

- Report card or Progress Report from previous school year, if applicable

- Evaluations, an I.E.P., and/or psychological reports, if applicable

Upon receipt of the application and required documents listed above, you will be contacted to:

- Schedule an admissions appointment.

The following is due after January 15 and before February 15:

-Teacher Reference Report, emailed to parents in January by our Admissions Office and given to applicant’s current teacher

-Report card or Progress Report for 1st semester of current school year, if applicable

Parents of Pre-Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten applicants will be notified of their child’s observation date by February.

Checklist for KINDERGARTEN Applicants:

- Report card or Progress Report from previous school year

- Standardized test scores (i.e. SAT, HSA, CTP, Terra Nova, etc.) from previous school year, if applicable

- Evaluations, an I.E.P and/or psychological reports, if applicable

Upon receipt of the application and required documents listed above, you will be contacted to:

- Schedule an admissions appointment with the Campus Principal

The following is due after January 15 and before February 15:

-Teacher Reference Report, emailed to parents in January by our Admissions Office and given to applicant's current teacher

-Report card for 1st semester of current school year

Parents will be contacted by February to schedule placement testing.

Checklist for GRADE 1 Applicants:


- Report card from previous school year

- Standardized test scores (i.e. SAT, HSA, CTP, Terra Nova, etc.) from previous school year, if applicable

- Evaluations, an I.E.P and/or psychological reports, if applicable

Upon receipt of the application and required documents listed above, you will be contacted to:

- Schedule an admissions appointment with the Campus Principal

The following is due after January 15 and before February 15:

-Teacher Reference Report, emailed to parents in January by our Admissions Office and given to applicant's current teacher

-Report card for 1st semester of current school year

In January, parents will need to register their applicant for the Admission Assessment for Beginning Learners (AABL) with the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) – www.AABLTest.org with school code: 570027

Checklist for GRADE 2 - GRADE 6 Applicants:


- Report card from previous school year

- Standardized test scores (i.e. SAT, HSA, CTP, Terra Nova, etc.) from previous school year, if applicable

- Evaluations, an I.E.P. and/or psychological reports, if applicable

Upon receipt of the application and required documents listed above, you will be contacted to:

- Schedule an admissions appointment with the Campus Principal

The following is due after January 15 and before February 15:

-Teacher Reference Report, emailed to parents in January by our Admissions Office and given to applicant's current teacher

-Report card for 1st semester of current school year

In January, parents will need to register their applicant for the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) with the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) - www.ISEETest.org with school code: 570027

Checklist for GRADE 7 – GRADE 12 Applicants:

- Report card from previous school year

- Official transcripts for grades 9th-12th

- Standardized test scores (i.e. SAT, CTP, Terra Nova, HSA, etc.) from previous school year

- Evaluations, an I.E.P. and/or psychological reports, if applicable

- A signed extracurricular letter of recommendation (ie. a coach, pastor or mentor, etc.)

- A hand written one page essay, signed and dated Topic: Why I want to attend Trinity Christian School

Parents will need to register their applicant for the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) – www.SSAT.org with SSATB Code: #7732

Upon receipt of the application, required documents listed above and date registered to take the SSAT, you will be contacted to:

- Schedule an admissions appointment with the Campus Principal

The following is due after January 15 and before February 15:

- Teacher Reference Report, emailed to parents in January by our Admissions Office and given to 3 of applicant's current core teachers

- Report card for 1st semester of current school year
